Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between Kodpit Teknoloji A.Ş. ("Qedu AI", "we") and the person using the qedu.ai website, the Qedu AI mobile applications and the web panel (the "Service") ("you", the "User"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms.

1. Definitions

Student: an individual user who uses the Service for learning and exam preparation.
Teacher: a user who creates classes and follows their students' progress.
Parent: the legal representative who creates and manages an account on behalf of a student under 18.
Subscription: a paid monthly or yearly plan that gives access to Premium features.
Licence: a time-limited right of use granted through a subscription, store purchase, trial or corporate agreement.

2. Account and Age

A valid e-mail address is required to create an account; e-mail verification is mandatory.
If you are under 18, your account must be created or approved by your parent or legal guardian. Users under 13 may use the Service only under parental supervision.
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate, your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Report suspected unauthorised use to [email protected] immediately.
Teacher accounts are free; Qedu AI may request additional information to verify teacher status or suspend the account.

3. Scope of the Service

Qedu AI is an AI-powered education assistant providing personalised study plans, question solving, mock-exam analysis, resource and video recommendations, coaching and guidance content. AI-generated content is for information and guidance only and may contain errors. It should not be the sole basis for exam, school or career decisions; consult a teacher or guidance counsellor where appropriate. Qedu AI does not guarantee any exam result or success.

4. Subscription, Trial and Payment

Premium features are offered through monthly or yearly subscriptions. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page exclusive of VAT; taxes are calculated at checkout.
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the fee of the selected plan is charged.
Purchases made on the web are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. The payment is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms; your invoice is issued by Paddle.
Purchases made through app stores (App Store, Google Play) are subject to and managed through the respective store.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.

5. Licence and Right of Use

While you hold an active licence you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. One account may be used by one person only; account sharing is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

Use the Service in a manner that is unlawful, immoral or infringes third-party rights,
Gain unauthorised access, reverse-engineer, or collect data with automated tools (scraping),
Use AI output to train a competing model,
Use the Service in a way that compromises exam integrity (for example during an exam),
Impersonate others, or send spam or harmful content,
Perform operations that overload the Service's infrastructure.

In case of violation, your account may be suspended or terminated without notice.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All software, designs, trademarks, logos and content in the Service belong to Kodpit Teknoloji A.Ş. or its licensors.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (question photos, mock-exam results, messages). You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
You may use AI-generated content produced for you for your personal educational purposes.

8. Teacher and Class Features

Teachers see only the usage and progress summaries of students who join their class; they cannot access chat content. Students may leave a class at any time. Teachers agree to use student data solely for educational purposes and in compliance with applicable law.

9. Changes and Suspension of the Service

We may add, change or remove features to improve the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance or technical necessity. If the Service is discontinued entirely, we give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused periods pro rata.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, Qedu AI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profit, loss of data or exam failure). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

11. Termination of the Account

You may delete your account at any time from the Security page of the web panel. After a deletion request the account is kept inactive for 30 days (recoverable during this period), after which your data is deleted or anonymised subject to statutory retention obligations.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Istanbul (Anatolian) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction. Consumers may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court at their place of residence within the statutory monetary limits.

13. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by e-mail or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
